Caleb University Appoints Pastor Folu Adeboye as Chancellor, Strengthens Faith-Driven Leadership

Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, has appointed Pastor Folu Adeboye as its new Chancellor, a move widely seen as reinforcing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, moral discipline, and faith-based leadership.

The announcement marks a significant milestone for the university, as Pastor Adeboye assumes the ceremonial headship of the institution, where she is expected to provide guidance, represent the university at official functions, and serve as a role model to students and the academic community.

Pastor Folu Adeboye is a prominent Christian minister and the wife of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), one of the largest and most influential Pentecostal churches in Nigeria and globally. She is also known for her leadership in women’s ministry, counseling, and youth development initiatives.

In a statement issued by the university management, the appointment was described as a strategic decision aimed at strengthening the institution’s vision of producing graduates who are not only academically sound but also morally upright.
