APC Celebrates National Chairman Yilwatda at 58

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has celebrated its National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his 58th birthday, praising his leadership and contributions to the growth of the party.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) described Yilwatda’s tenure as one of “purposeful leadership, remarkable accomplishments and unwavering dedication” to the APC and Nigeria.

The APC said Yilwatda had strengthened internal democracy, deepened party unity and improved the party’s institutional capacity since assuming office.

According to the party, his leadership also oversaw the implementation of its electronic membership registration exercise, which it said expanded the APC’s membership base and further consolidated its position as Nigeria’s largest political party.

The party said Yilwatda had continued to position the APC for sustained electoral success while supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

It added that under his leadership, the APC had reinforced its commitment to democratic values, good governance and national development.

“Since assuming office, Professor Yilwatda has provided forthright and inclusive leadership that has strengthened the APC’s internal democracy, deepened Party unity and enhanced its institutional capacity,” the statement said.

The NWC congratulated Yilwatda on the milestone and prayed for continued good health, wisdom, strength and divine grace as he leads the party.

“Happy 58th Birthday Anniversary, Mr Chairman!” the party said.
