APC Youth Stakeholders Back Dayo Israel Ahead of 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Young Stakeholders Forum has passed a vote of confidence in the party’s National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel, reaffirming its support for his leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The forum stated its position in a press statement delivered by Hon. Shehu Attah in Abuja on Thursday, October 29, 2026, commending Israel’s leadership and efforts to strengthen youth participation within the party.

The stakeholders said their decision to pass a vote of confidence in Israel reflected their support for his leadership and commitment to advancing the interests of young party members.

They also urged APC members nationwide to remain united and focused as the party prepares for the 2027 elections, stressing the need to prioritise collective interests over personal differences.

“The unity of our party remains critical as we approach the 2027 general elections. We must put aside personal differences and work together towards our collective objectives,” the forum said.

The group commended Israel’s efforts to engage young people and encourage their participation in the party’s activities, describing youth mobilisation as essential to strengthening the APC’s grassroots structures.

It urged young party members to remain committed to the party’s ideals and take an active role in mobilising support ahead of the elections.

“Every young member of our party has a role to play in building a stronger APC. We must remain committed, organised and focused on the common goal of advancing the party’s interests,” it said.

The forum also reaffirmed its support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, calling on young members to mobilise support for the administration and communicate its policies and programmes to Nigerians.

According to the stakeholders, sustained grassroots engagement and effective communication would be crucial to securing voters’ support in 2027.

They encouraged APC leaders to continue creating opportunities for young people to participate meaningfully in party affairs and political decision-making.

The forum maintained that youth inclusion remained important to the party’s long-term growth and urged members to work collectively towards strengthening its structures across the country.

It reiterated its confidence in Israel’s leadership and called on APC youths to support the party’s leadership and contribute to its preparations for the 2027 general elections.
