Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill has stated that he was never married to actress Roseline Meurer, dismissing ongoing claims of a divorce between them as false.
In a statement shared on his social media page, Churchill refuted reports suggesting that their relationship had ended in a formal separation, insisting there was no legal basis for such claims.
“Let me address this directly. The reports circulating about a supposed divorce between myself and Roseline Meurer are completely false. There is no truth to them, and they should be treated as such,” he wrote.
He explained that their relationship was not formalised through any legally recognised marriage, noting that there was neither a church nor court wedding.
“There was no legally recognised marriage. There was no church wedding and no court wedding. What took place was an introduction. Therefore, the idea of a ‘divorce’ is baseless from the outset,” he added.
His remarks come amid heightened speculation on social media over the status of their relationship
