Nigerian gospel singer Judikay has shared a deeply personal and emotional account of losing her sixth pregnancy, opening up about the physical trauma, private grief, and struggles with faith that followed the experience.
In a moving video testimony, the singer disclosed that the miscarriage occurred in February 2025 when she was slightly over three months pregnant. She explained that the ordeal began with what appeared to be mild cramps and light spotting—symptoms she initially dismissed as normal.
“I thought it was normal, but then it became blood, and it didn’t stop,” she said, recalling the moment the situation took a frightening turn.
As the bleeding persisted, Judikay said she was rushed to the hospital, where medical personnel confirmed she had lost the pregnancy. She underwent a procedure afterward, describing it as part of managing what doctors identified as a missed miscarriage.
The singer revealed that while the physical pain was intense, it was the emotional aftermath that proved most difficult to bear.
“I thought I was okay. I cried, I shouted, and I told everyone, ‘God gets the glory,’” she said, noting that she initially tried to remain strong and composed in public.
However, she admitted that her true emotions surfaced in private, where she struggled deeply with grief and questions of faith.
“In the silence of the night, I would wail and cry, ‘Jesus, where are you?’” she said, describing moments of loneliness and anguish.
Judikay further revealed that the loss marked her sixth miscarriage, a reality she said made the experience even more devastating. Despite her strong Christian faith and public image as a worship minister, she acknowledged that she wrestled with confusion and emotional exhaustion.
According to her, the experience forced her to confront not only the pain of repeated loss but also the difficulty of reconciling her faith with unanswered prayers.
Still, the singer said she is gradually finding strength and healing, leaning on her faith and support system as she processes the loss.
Her testimony has since resonated widely with fans and members of the Christian community, many of whom have praised her courage in speaking openly about miscarriage an issue often kept private while offering prayers and messages of encouragement.
Observers say her story is helping to shed light on the emotional realities of pregnancy loss and the importance of support for women going through similar experiences.
