Ghanaian actress Nana Akua Addo’s husband, Harold Duodu Norman, has reportedly been arrested following allegations of domestic violence involving the actress and their daughter.
The controversy started after videos and photos showing Nana with apparent injuries surfaced online.
Another video allegedly showed Norman confronting their daughter, prompting calls for the authorities to intervene.
Norman was reportedly taken into custody by the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) to assist with investigations.
However, his lawyers have denied that he recently assaulted Nana, saying the injuries seen in some of the photos were from an incident that occurred in 2021.
The lawyers also said the matter had already been reported to DOVVSU and was connected to a case before the court.
Norman has also accused Nana of assaulting him, displaying scratches and other injuries he claimed were inflicted during a domestic dispute.
The allegations have generated widespread reactions online, with many calling for a proper investigation into the matter.
Authorities are expected to establish what happened and determine whether any offence was committed.
