The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged young girls across the country to nurture positive ambitions and remain focused on their dreams, stressing the need for strong role models and purposeful mentorship in today’s society.

Speaking at the event, the First Lady expressed concern over the diminishing presence of credible role models for young girls.
“I have been thinking that I should be a case study for young girls, They talk about the girl child all the time, but nowadays people no longer have role models,” she said.
The First Lady Also encouraged girls to dream boldly and positively, noting that early clarity of purpose can shape lifelong success.
“As young as I was, I knew I wanted to be a teacher, and I ended up being one, Just like the two girls who welcomed me here today, young girls must believe that their dreams are valid and achievable.” she said.
She emphasized that women in leadership have a responsibility to inspire the next generation through integrity, discipline, and service.
According to her, the Dream Centre is designed to provide a safe and supportive space where young people can develop confidence, acquire skills, and receive guidance to pursue meaningful careers.
The inauguration of the centre, reflects commitment to youth development and the empowerment of the girl child through education and positive example, she added.
