Rosy Meurer Fires Back at Critics, Says She Supported Husband’s Reconciliation with Tonto Dikeh

Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has strongly addressed critics over allegations surrounding her husband’s reconciliation with his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, stating that she was fully aware of and supported the development before it became public knowledge.

In a lengthy and emotionally charged post shared on her social media page, Meurer dismissed claims and narratives suggesting tension or secrecy, insisting that online commentators had consistently spread falsehoods about her for years.

“I knew about the reunion and reconciliation even before it got to the internet and I have been 100% in support,” she wrote, urging critics to “rest” and stop fueling unnecessary drama.

The actress expressed frustration over what she described as persistent attempts to tarnish her image, particularly long-standing rumors about how her relationship began. She denied claims that she had taken a friend’s husband or worked as a personal assistant under controversial circumstances.

Meurer further alleged that critics deliberately chose this period — when her husband is celebrating his son — to revive old narratives and cast her in a negative light. According to her, the timing was not coincidental but a calculated attempt to stir controversy and overshadow a family moment.

She maintained that her silence over the years was mistaken for guilt, allowing blogs and social media users to shape public perception with what she insists are lies.

“If I don’t speak up for myself, no one will,” she stated, emphasizing that she would no longer remain quiet while others define her story.

Addressing backlash over comments she previously made about age differences, Meurer clarified that describing someone as older than her was not intended as an insult. She stressed that growing old is a blessing and accused critics of deliberately twisting her words.

In her closing remarks, the actress called for peace and maturity, noting that “time has passed” and people have grown. She urged the public to allow love to lead and avoid reigniting issues that do not add value.

“Believe what you choose… this is my truth,” she concluded.
