A viral audio recording allegedly involving Chike and Sandra, the ex-wife of Frank Edoho, has continued to spark controversy online after details from the conversation surfaced on social media.
In the leaked audio, Chike allegedly expressed fears that reports linking him to an affair with a married woman could damage his public image and negatively affect his music career.
According to the recording, the singer worried that many of the people he works with professionally are married and that public backlash could make clients and associates uncomfortable maintaining ties with him.
Sandra, however, appeared to reassure him that online criticism would eventually fade and may not permanently affect his success.
Speaking in the recording, she allegedly said:
“I don’t care about what people will say but I know you’re still younger and you still care, and you still want to be perceived in a certain way. But at the end of the day what is important? Is it the blog post for two weeks, two months?”
She also referenced a past professional fallout involving media personality Toke Makinwa, claiming that despite the controversy, she later secured even bigger business opportunities.
Sandra reportedly said:
“When I worked with Toke Makinwa and there were issues that she complained about and it escalated because she came to social media to rant about it. It felt like she spoilt my business at that point. But my highest paying client came out of all that rubbish.”
Following the circulation of the audio, Toke Makinwa responded angrily on social media, accusing Sandra of disrespect and ingratitude despite benefiting financially from working with her.
In a strongly worded post, Toke wrote:
“This ungrateful human has the nerve to say I cannot afford her but you did my 2 homes, your attitude sucked, you called me a client from hell after making millions off the project.”
She further alleged that Sandra delivered poor finishing on the projects and maintained an arrogant attitude throughout their dealings.
Toke added:
“I spoilt your business????? Your finishing was rubbish, you lacked tact and you’ve always been an arrogant sh* head.”
The media personality also claimed Sandra later apologized for her behaviour after blaming her attitude on the emotional impact of losing her mother.
Expressing frustration over hearing her name mentioned in the leaked conversation, Toke concluded:
“I am tired of constantly taking the high road from these lots cos you guys will say the worst about me but do worse behind closed doors.”
The situation has since generated widespread reactions online, with many social media users debating the leaked audio, the alleged affair claims, and the escalating feud between Sandra and Toke Makinwa.
