Anthony Joshua Relocates to Dubai, Changes Official Residence from UK

British Nigerian boxing star Anthony Joshua has officially relocated from the United Kingdom to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he has reportedly secured permanent residency.

The former heavyweight world champion confirmed the development in recent business filings linked to his business empire, estimated to be worth about £150 million.

Documents submitted for his companies Sparta Promotions Limited and 258 Investments Limited listed the UAE as his current country of residence.

The move indicates that the Olympic gold medalist is no longer formally based in the UK, where he was born and where much of his boxing career was established.

Joshua, one of boxing’s most recognizable figures, won gold at the 2012 London Olympics before going on to become a two-time heavyweight world champion.

While details surrounding the relocation were not immediately disclosed, the UAE particularly Dubai has increasingly attracted global athletes and high-net-worth individuals due to its tax advantages, luxury lifestyle, and growing sports industry.
