Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has called on Nigerians to remain patient and continue trusting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as efforts to reform and improve the country’s power sector gain momentum.
Speaking on the government’s ongoing initiatives, Adelabu emphasized the importance of public trust in the administration’s plans.
“Nigerians should have a trust in this administration. It’ll only take a little patience for them to start seeing the laudable plan that President Tinubu has for this sector,” he said.
The minister noted that President Tinubu aims to use the power sector as a catalyst to drive optimal performance across other critical sectors, assuring that the government is providing the necessary support to make this possible.
Adelabu further reassured Nigerians that the results of these reforms would become visible as the government’s plans take effect.
“Once the plans begin to work, Nigerians will start seeing positive outcomes in the power sector,” he said.
The minister’s call comes amid ongoing challenges in the country’s electricity supply, as the government seeks to implement policies aimed at boosting generation, distribution, and overall sector efficiency.
This statement underscores the administration’s commitment to tackling the nation’s power challenges while encouraging citizens to remain patient as the reforms take hold.
