Nathaniel Bassey, the convener and host of the Hallelujah Challenge, has cautioned critics and opponents of the global prayer movement, warning against speaking against or resisting it.
While addressing worshippers from the altar, he referred to the biblical story of those who mocked David and faced swift consequences, drawing a spiritual comparison. He warned that anyone who chooses to oppose the Hallelujah Challenge could face divine repercussions, adding, “If you don’t want to watch it, leave it alone.”
Quoting Genesis 49:10, he highlighted the spiritual significance of praise, stating that “Judah is a lion” and that “the scepter shall not depart from Judah.” He explained that the level of resistance surrounding the movement reflects the spiritual power it carries.
He also issued a warning to opposing spiritual forces, declaring, “The devil and his host are warned. Leave us alone to serve our God.”
Pastor Bassey ended his message by encouraging believers to stay committed, emphasizing that the opposition is evidence of the Hallelujah Challenge’s spiritual impact and importance.
